Specialising in innovative (cloud-based) parking management solutions, WPS Parking Solutions brings together innovation, business intelligence, and user-friendliness to deliver the ultimate user experience to its clients and end-users.
WPS is a company that is constantly innovating. Despite WPS’s dedicated efforts to develop intuitive software, it can still pose challenging for new users. Additionally, software is inherently subject to change, and this certainly applies to the WPS platform.
WPS aimed to offer its users the best possible support by seeking online instructions that could adapt to new developments. Multilingualism was a requirement in this endeavour, which presented a great challenge that we were excited to tackle.
In this project, Manualise chose a topic-based approach and began by designing a structure. Following consultation and optimisation, the structure was further developed into multiple topics. Text was written, and screenshots were added. After another round of review and optimisation, these topics were integrated into a content management system (CMS). Subsequently, an HTML template was developed in the WPS corporate identity for this CMS. Once the source language received final approval, the manual was translated into various target languages, and the manual was published online.
The online help is now highly appreciated by its international users and WPS can respond quickly to changes or new insights.
